Pam Howden — Waterlily Dahlia
The Pam Howden is widely celebrated as a textbook Waterlily dahlia — and it’s easy to see why. Its flawlessly symmetric layers of broad petals cup gently upward in perfect waterlily architecture, while the painterly, sunset-like palette tells a different story on every surface: a glowing bright yellow base radiates from the center with peachy-orange petal edges, while the undersides reveal a dramatic wash of raspberry and fuchsia-pink that creates a breathtaking multidimensional color shift.
- Bloom Form: Waterlily (WL)
- Bloom Size: 4–6 inches in diameter (10–15 cm)
- Color: Light Blend (LB) — bright yellow base, peachy-orange edges, raspberry/fuchsia-pink petal reverse
- Plant Height: 3.5 to 4 feet
A florist’s treasure and a garden showpiece, Pam Howden brings layered color drama to summer bouquets, wedding arrangements, and any design that deserves something truly special.
