Burfoot Freestone — Formal Decorative Dahlia
The Burfoot Freestone is an all-peach dream from first bud to final bloom. Its big, full Formal Decorative flowers are packed with row after row of delicately waved petals that shift through multiple shades of peach and apricot — a warm, glowing palette that deepens in high heat to reveal richer yellow-peach tones and a more pronounced picotee edge that adds gorgeous definition to every bloom.
- Bloom Form: Formal Decorative (FD) — packed center with waved petals
- Bloom Size: 5–6 inches across
- Color: Peach / Apricot blend — multi-shade shifting palette; deeper yellow-peach & picotee edge in high heat
- Plant Height: 3.5–4 feet (slightly taller in shadier conditions)
Versatile, weather-responsive, and endlessly beautiful, Burfoot Freestone is a standout for peach-toned wedding florals, garden bouquets, and any arrangement where warm, sun-kissed color is the star.
