After Dusk

After Dusk

After Dusk is a dahlia that earns its name from the moment it opens. A Formal Decorative to Waterlily dahlia with beautifully packed, fully double flowers and no visible central disc — just layer upon layer of deep, velvety color that grows richer toward the center of each bloom.

Color

Deep burgundy-purple to dark midnight-crimson red, intensifying toward the bloom’s core. The effect is dramatic and moody — a flower that looks like it was made for candlelit arrangements and twilight garden photography.

Foliage

Highly ornamental bronze-burgundy to deep purple-green leaves that add striking contrast in the garden even before the first bloom appears.
